I love Italian wine. Italy is one of the world's most diverse wine producing countries, with over 1,400 native grape varietals, twenty wine growing regions and a 2,000-year-old winemaking history. Even with all of this diversity, most people have one or two go to grapes or regions they stick with and are not super confident expanding beyond that. In this 2.5 hour class we will explore 8 wines (alongside snacks) from lesser known regions and varietals that are perfect for spring. Learn how geography, climate, and production methods all come together in perfect harmony. We will have you confidently reaching for the wine list the next time you’re at your favorite Italian restaurant.
